Linguista, Sweden’s leading provider of mother-tongue education, set out to spotlight the dedication of its teachers. We uncovered that Kamratposten — a key youth magazine covering topics like love, bullying and growing up — is only published in Swedish, excluding many multilingual children.
So Linguista’s native-speaking teachers translated two full issues into Arabic and Finnish, Sweden’s largest minority languages.
“Translate What Matters” gave thousands of young people access to essential content in their own language, generated national PR, and brought Linguista’s mission to life in a deeply human way.
